So while this quickly progresses to advanced topics, it never becomes overwhelming. The sections are all detailed discussions on actual project elements. The instructor constantly reinforces the earlier information. By focusing on specific tasks you get practical guidance on working on projects as you learn how to use the program. Revit's interface and menus are very different from AutoCAD's. And the entire program follows through one Revit project, with the files available as a whole or by chapter. Throughout the lessons, he includes tons of contextual information and shortcut commands. All the basics of the Revit user interface are either covered in the earlier lessons or along the way. This video covers everything by going through the sample project. This is a great advantage compared to other training videos.
